"Performer"

Michael Joseph Jackson was born August 29, 1958 to Joseph and Katherine Jackson. Michael was born in Gary, Indiana. Michael's parents decided to move Michael and his five brothers and three sisters to Los Angeles, California to better pursue the careers of the members of the Jackson 5. The Jackson 5 was a group of singing brothers in which Michael Jackson was the youngest member and the lead singer. Michael was often spanked and forced to practice daily. This made him perfect his performing skills. They were discovered by one of the singers of the Supremes, which was Diana Ross. Michael made his first television debut on the Ed Sullivan show. After that, the Jackson 5 became an instant hit. After the Jackson 5, Michael Jackson was the lead singer of the Jacksons. Michael played the role of the scare crow in "The Wiz". He then became somewhat of a solo artist. Michael released his debut album "Off the Wall", which was a success. "Off the Wall" included hits such as "Don't Stop til You Get Enough" and "Rock with you". Four years later, he would release the most successful album of all time. In 1982, Michael Jackson released "Thriller". He also created a short movie as the music video for the song "Thriller", which was one of the best music videos ever created. While performing on Motown 25, he introduced the world to the moon walk. This became one of his signature dance moves. This was the height of his career. In 2009, he announced that he was going to have a comer back tour. Many fans were excited and rushed to purchase their tickets. This concert didn't take place because he died. After his death, his record sells sky rocketed making him the number one selling deceased artist.
